Allan was pumped and eager to go to "big boy school." Then, it was time for Mommy and Daddy to leave and the fear set in. My heart was aching hearing him cry. I know he was fine though. I called thirty minutes after I dropped him off. His morning teacher, Dwana, (I know what you are thinking..................she's not Canadian.) said she held him the entire time during chapel.
I was impressed she called me at lunch time to give me an update. She said he was coming around and starting to play with the other kids. She also said he didn't have an accident, but he "wee wee," as Allan calls it, wasn't pointing the right direction, so he got it on him." Although he had an extra change of clothes, which he changed to, they WASHED his clothes!!!!
He was happy to see me when I picked him up. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day for him as far as comfort.
