Donation
Last week, Elena asked if she could donate (my money) to a student who lost her mother and sister in an auto accident. Her junior high was collecting for a freshman student. I asked her what she was going to do for me. (While her heart is in the right place, it always seems to affect my pocket.) She said, "I would say I would clean the bathroom, but it's not worth cleaning for a dollar." I told her I wasn't going to "just" give her a dollar. She ended up cleaning the bathroom, so I gave her five dollars. Had she known her personally, we would have donated more.
