TP

I buy toilet paper. Bring it in. Put it away.............. in my bathroom because after leaving it out for a couple of hours, my kids don't find it their duty to put it way. That's why I put in my bathroom only.

My two year old has mastered replacing the toilet paper roll without being told, yet my older children haven't. He was in my bathroom potting and noticed there were only about 15 squares on the roll. (Clearly not enough to wipe and adult hiney, in his mind) He said, "MOM! I trow dis away in da garbage." Then, he gets a new roll to replace it. I told him I would take care of it and he said, "I do it!"

I have noticed for the past three days there hasn't been any tp in the hall bathroom. I don't use that bathroom, so Scott and I were going to see how long it was going to take for our kids to replenish their supply. Scott even left a new roll on the kitchen bar. We congregate there daily and surely that would trigger someone to notice a supply was needed. NOPE!!! Didn't happen.

Elena (12): (Shouting from the bathroom) MOM!!! Can you bring me some toilet paper?

Mom: (Hollering back) NO!!!

Elena: (Pleading) I need some!

Mom: You should have looked before you went in. (I look before I use ANY restroom.)

Allan: (2) (Happy to oblige.) Here Lena!!!

So, a two year old came to her rescue and she still didn't bring any extra rolls in for next time. Lesson not learned.

Girl, just be glad there is only you and Elena. Having all my girls in the house at one time is crazy when it comes to TP. We may have to start rationing squares!!

Any I COMPLETELY agree with the how noone seems to know how to change the empty roll..
