Last night, the kids had a sock party! They all claimed they had no socks. You know, you have one but can't find the other. So I had a pile of mismatched socks I've collected over the many washes and I dumped them in the middle of the living room floor. They were reminiscing of the times we use to play the matching game (ages 4-8) and they would get paid .05 cents for every matching pair. Brandon usually only made .05 cents. Ricky once paired up 40 socks. Now they just get a pair of socks they can use. It sucks growing up!
(I know .05 cents wasn't much, but it taught them how to earn money and I didn't have to pair them up.)
